Directions from Airport
Dublin
Airport is situated 12 kilometres north of the city
centre, taking approximately 35 minutes to reach the
Holiday Inn Dublin City Centre depending on traffic.
There are a variety of means of travelling to the city
centre from the airport which include:
The AIRCOACH service leaves from the arrivals hall every
20 minutes and will leave you off at Merrion Square,
only a five-minute walk from the hotel. This service
costs € 5.00
The AIRLINK service runs between the Airport, Busaras
(the central bus station) and Heuston Train Station.
The central bus station within 10 minutes walking distance
from the hotel. This service also costs € 5.00
There is also a frequent bus service going straight
into the city centre. You can catch the 41 buses, or
indeed the number 16 bus.
There is a taxi rank located outside the arrivals hall.

Directions from Ports
Dublin
Port is serviced by Irish Ferries and is the closest
port to the hotel being only a 5-10 minute drive away.
A taxi would only cost approximately € 8.00.
Dun
Laoghaire is situated about 10 kilometres south of the
city centre and is serviced by Stena Line Ferries. The
simplest method of reaching the hotel from here is to
catch the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) train,
which leaves every 5-10 minutes. The closest stop is
Pearse Street Station, which is only a five-minute walk
from the hotel.

beside the hotel is
Pearse Street Library which has an archive
of Dublin Parish Registers from 1880 onwards. The National
Library of Ireland is a ten-minute walk away on Kildare
Street and has the most comprehensive list of genealogical
information in Ireland.
